this fatwa from 1312 AH. here alahazrat DOES takfir of nanotvi, his fanciful interpretation of khatam and those who follow him in this.

portion of longer fatwa. here alahazrat considers prayer behind kazzabi (i.e. belief in imkan kazib) as makruh tahrimi - compared to later fatawa in which he considers prayer as invalid.

but this fatwa is from 1313AH. when alahazrat had not done takfir of devbandi elders.

one condition mentioned is: sahihul aqidah whose aqidah is according to that of ulama of haramayn.

obviously, he meant ulama of HIS time.

therefore, the description of wahabi or devbandi would be according to those labels of HIS time.

here he has mentioned that the imam should not be a bad-mazhab, i.e. mubtadiy as a tafdili.
