Muzammil Shah stated that Pir Sahib’s clan/family opposed the Jamati Masjid franchise in Birmingham. Shaykh Asrar has created awareness as the community has donated millions to Pir-run masajid in Birmingham and Bradford, with very little returned to the community. It will be interesting to see whether Pir Saqib now speaks out on other issues affecting the Sunni community, such as the Tafzili fitna.
