Is it not within poetic licence - use of literary devices such exaggeration, personification etc. to extol Sayyiduna Ali's valour and majesty? Aren't such devices commonly used (within limits) in naat / manqabat genre?

bro khaybar became any ordinary place after the jews were exiled.

you can stretch the metaphor to your liking, but it does not make sense to me.

upon your explanation, i followed on those lines, but still it doesn't make sense to me. firstly, the fortress of khaybar was not built to protect themselves from muslims. it existed long before muslims came to madinah.

    for example, take the sheyr:

hashr tak daalangay hum paydayish e mawla ki dhoom
misl e faras najd kay qil'ey giratay jaengay
like the forts of persia, we will keep destroying the forts of najd

here it is an allusion to the irhas - the miraculous event that happened upon the birth of the Prophet sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam. the palace of the king of persia shook and domes fell. alahazrat draws this parallel - that upon the birth of the messenger sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam, the majestic forts shook as a sign of impending doom, we too shall mention the birth of the prophet ("mawlid") and cause the forts of najd to shake - that is in sha'Allah we will end their heresy.

but in case of khaybar - there was nothing to do with the forts. mawla ali is fatih e khaybar for he defeated the PEOPLE of khaybar. and once they were exiled, there is no significance for it to 'shake' again. it has remained in ruin for the past 1400 years.

    Allah ta'ala knows best.

As I understand it, dar & deewaar are symbols of Robustness, Solidity & Sturdiness.
The might of Sayyidunā Ali is such that even these Paragons of Strength humble themselves in front of him. A bit like how one says "The earth would tremble when he spoke", "Even Mountains bow down in humility". Personally I don't find these expressions Idiotic or Farfetched

Nowhere is it mentioned that Mawla Ali has enemity with walls. Them "Quivering" due to his Jalal does not necessitate Mawla Ali harboring Hatred for them.

Khaybar is a place indeed but it can be used specifically to refer to the Fortress built by the Kuffār to Protect themselves from Muslims if we make it Majaaz Mursal.
    Durūs ul balāghah;

Mawla Ali Unhitched that fortress's door and Conquered the Disbelievers.
So this "fortress" can Represent any Obstacle Standing in the Way of Muslims, to this Day they tremble upon the mere mention of Mawla Ali.

I believe the metaphors used here are not objectively, outright nonsensical الله و رسوله اعلم

    the sheyr is meaningless.

khaybar is a place. why would khaybar shiver and what is the significance of khaybar shivering until this day? wherever such an expression is used, it means the people of khaybar - i.e. the jews - feared him.

and why would mawla ali have enmity with deewar and dar and khaybar?

کبھی دیوار ہلتی ہے کبھی دَر کانپ جاتا ہے
علی کا نام سُن کر اب بھی خیبر کانپ جاتا ہے

❝ Sometimes the Walls Shudder in Fear,
    Sometimes Fortresses Quiver in Terror,

Upon Hearing the Name of ALI,
Even now, Khaybar whimpers in Agony ❞
