    Youtube playlist to learn Alphabets in urdu. The best place to start is learning the Alphabets.
    Then reading and reading and more reading.

    And learn the ability to be open to corrections. Speak to your local urdu awaam.
    There are many textbooks as well that teach urdu in english. Just hunt them

    Go to Dawate islamis Library online and download roman Urdu books
    then download the same book in actual urdu and read, when you get stuck look at the roman urdu text and google or use Rekhta which is quiet good for pronunciations and meanings in English

    Its honestly a big task to learn urdu, but as they said if you dont get out of your comfort zone, you wont achieve anything.
